ABOUT US
I reside in Punta Gorda with my pride and joy Manny Jr. I began fishing in Southwest Florida ten years ago with my first redfish tournament and the rest is history. I immediately fell in love with the gin clear waters and the diversity that Charlotte Harbor has to offer.
My greatest accomplishment in fishing has to be winning 2 Redfish Cup Championships. I love to pole & sight fish with artificials but flipping a live greenback or threadfin in front of a rolling tarpon definitely has it's place.
After studying and playing baseball at William Paterson University I was finally able to pursue my love for fishing and moved to Punta Gorda. Fishing is not my job, it is a way of life for me. I live to fish & look forward to every minute I spend on the water. The greatest challenge for me is that you never know what your going to get. Things are never the same from one day to the next, so you have to be on your game to stay on the fish. Being on the water on a daily basis makes it easy to adapt to changing conditions, tides, weather & fish movement.
I get a great thrill out of putting a client on a trophy fish each and every time like it was the first! Going above & beyond to make the best trip possible is the only way I know how. Whether it's getting extra bait, making a longer run, getting out early, late, or something simple like picking up your drinks or cigars I will do whatever it takes to make your trip with Get-Bit Fishing the most enjoyable it could possibly be.
